A very versatile hand woven scarf/shawl. Due to the open-ness of the weave its very soft to touch and drapes beautifully. It is very wide so creates a good wrap around the neck in the cold months and during the summer months can sit beautifully on the shoulders. It is lacey in appearance and is woven in cottons, botany merino and silk. In a palette of soft shades of blue, mauve, lilac and cream.
Woven on my Finnish Varpapuu floor loom, fringed and hand washed with an eco-friendly wool wash liquid, A gentle press then finishes it off beautifully.
After care- a hand wash product. I recommend hand hot water and I like Ecover wool wash as a liquid soap. A gentle press to then smooth out the fibres.
